Visiting this website
We ask you for nothing. We set no cookies on the home page and use no analytics, tracking or advertising. Cloudflare carries and protects our website traffic, so it handles the technical details every visit sends, such as your internet address.
Spinning the market wheel
The wheel is for people aged 18 and over, and no purchase is needed. We use one essential cookie on your phone. It remembers that the phone has had its spin today and what the result was, and it expires at midnight. To stop automated spinning, Cloudflare counts spins from each internet connection for about a minute. It also runs a check, Cloudflare Turnstile, that tells people from scripts (Turnstile Privacy Addendum). We do not see or keep any of this. We do it so the competition is fair for everyone. If you do not win, we keep nothing about you.
If you win
At the stall you show your winning screen and that you follow the Bos-Japie Facebook Page. We only look; we record nothing from Facebook. To hand over your prize we note your name and the date, and you sign a receipt. Giving these details is voluntary, but without them we cannot hand over the prize. We keep the receipt for three years and then destroy it. We use it for nothing else. You never have to be photographed or take part in marketing.
If you message or email us
Some buttons open WhatsApp with a message already written. Nothing is sent unless you press send. WhatsApp (Meta) handles what you send under your own agreement with WhatsApp. Email to info@bos-japie.co.za is held by our email provider, Microsoft, and stored in the European Union. We use your messages only to answer you, and we keep them for 12 months after your last message, and then we delete them.

- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us.
- Unlimited Solutions Enterprise, which builds and looks after our website.
- Anyone the law requires us to tell.
We never sell or rent personal information.
Outside South Africa
Email is stored in the European Union. Cloudflare handles information mainly in the United States and the European Economic Area. WhatsApp may handle it in the United States and other countries where Meta and its partners operate. Both say they apply safeguards to these transfers, as set out in their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You may ask whether we hold information about you and see it. You may ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Ask our information officer at damon@bos-japie.co.za or at the stall. We can correct a winner's receipt, but we must keep it for the three years the law requires.
